2 Drug Description

Kelanmei is applicable for the treatment of gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, reflux esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It’s a newer generation of proton pump inhibitor with original fluorine import mechanism to enhance pharmacological activity. It’s better than omeprazole in terms of chemical stability and therapeutic effect. It’s a Class Ⅱ drug covered by national medical insurance. It’s the good choice for the treatment of gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer and reflux esophagitis. It’s applied to general surgery department, pediatrics department, and many other departments.

3 Usage and Dosage

Take before meals.

For patients with gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, reflux esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome or marginal ulcer, the dosage is 30mg once a day; patients with gastric ulcer, reflux esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome or marginal ulcer should take the drug for 6-8 consecutive weeks; patients with duodenal ulcer should take it for 4-6 consecutive weeks.

If it is applied for the treatment of repeated attacks of reflux esophagitis, the dosages should be halved for patients with liver dysfunction and for elderly patients.
